Determinanten der innerdeutschen Standortwahl von Unternehmen - Ergebnisse einer empirischen Analyse

Abstract

Standortentscheidungen von Unternehmen kommt vor allem aufgrund ihrer Bedeutung für die regionale Beschäftigungsentwicklung eine hohe Bedeutung zu. Eine Region kann im Standortwettbewerb nur bestehen, wenn sie für Unternehmen attraktive Standortbedingungen bietet. Im Rahmen des vorliegenden Beitrags werden die Ergebnisse einer empirischen Analyse der Determinanten der innerdeutschen Standortwahl präsentiert und diskutiert. Hierzu wird zunächst der empirische Untersuchungsansatz vorgestellt. Dann werden die im Hinblick auf innerdeutsche Standortentscheidungen möglicherweise relevanten Einflussfaktoren diskutiert und es wird aufgezeigt, welche Daten zur Messung der regionalen Ausprägung dieser Faktoren zur Verfügung stehen. Anschließend werden die Schätzergebnisse präsentiert.
