Abstract

Die ostdeutschen Industriefirmen investieren auch am aktuellen Rand deutlich mehr vom Umsatz als die westdeutschen und bleiben damit auf Aufholkurs. Da die Ertragslage nicht besser als in Westdeutschland und die Fremdfinanzierung nicht günstiger sind, ist dies nur möglich, weil Unternehmen in der Ziel-1-Region Ostdeutschland erhebliche Investitionszuschüsse erhalten können. Die Firmen müssen sich aber auf andere Verhältnisse nach 2005 einstellen. Vordringlich ist die weitere Stärkung der Ertragskraft. dann wird auch Basel II nicht zum Investitionshemmnis.
