Mehr Realismus im neuen Jahr als 2002

Abstract

Das Jahr 2002 hat gute Chancen, als das Jahr der enttäuschten Hoffnungen in die Geschichte einzugehen. Aber nicht alle Prognosen bzw. Erwartungen waren falsch. Gebildet hatten sich auch „Erwartungsblasen“, die belegen, dass in der modernen Mediengesellschaft leicht Befürchtungen und Hoffnungen ohne viel reale Substanz entstehen und sich selbst verstärken können. Für 2003 ist zu hoffen, dass sich Akteure, Analytiker und Berichterstatter wieder stärker von Fakten leiten lassen.
