DV-Diensleister : mit Zuversicht in den Sommer, aber deutliche Abschwächung im Osten

Abstract

Nach Auswertung der monatlich vom ifo-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung durchgeführten Konjunkturumfragen lassen sich auch für 1999 im deutschen Dienstleistungsektor aufsteigende Tendenzen vorhersagen. Ausgehend von einem gegen Ende 1999 erwarteten Umsatzplus von 8,1% (Wert 1998: 8,5%) bewerteten 62% der befragten Unternehmen ihre Geschäftslage mit "gut". Die restlichen 38%, überwiegend Kleinunternehmen, gaben ein befriedigend bis schlecht (3%) an. Die Auftragslage wurde in den ersten drei Monaten 1999 durch eine, insbesondere in Ostdeutschland, merklich verringerte Nachfrageaktivität abgeschwächt. Es handelt sich hierbei jedoch in Westdeutschland nur um einen temporären Effekt. Infolge einer fortschreitenden weltweiten Vermarktung aller derzeit verfügbaren Informations- und Kommunikationssysteme wird die Ordertätigkeit und die Investitionstätigkeit zulegen. Ein Bedarf an kompetenten Fachkräften besteht nach wie vor.
