Abstract

Ende Februar gab es in Deutschland 4,465 Mill. Arbeitslose: 9.700 mehr als im Vormonat, gleichzeitig aber 354.000 weniger als im Vergleichsmonat des Vorjahres. Vom Anstieg der Erwerbslosigkeit war ausschließlich Ostdeutschland betroffen, d.h. in den neuen Ländern stieg die Zahl der Arbeitslosen um 12.000.
