Eigenkapitallücke : ja oder nein?

Abstract

In dem vorliegenden Artikel wird die Entwicklung der Eigenkapitalausstattung ostdeutscher Unternehmen und möglicher Eigenkapitallücken im Vergleich zu westdeutschen Unternehmen analysiert. Dabei wird festgestellt, daß die Meinungen der Experten hierzu auseinander gehen. Verbreitet ist die Ansicht, daß in Ostdeutschland auch weiterhin generell Eigenkapitalmangel herrscht. Demgegenüber gelangen die Bundesbank und die Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau in ihren Bilanzanlaysen zu der Auffassung, daß nicht mehr von einer allgemeinen Eigenkapitallücke im Ost-West-Vergleich gesprochen werden kann.
