Konjunkturprognose 1998/1999 : Fortsetzung des moderaten Aufschwungs

Abstract

Die Konjunktur in Deutschland hat sich weiter gefestigt. Die gesamtwirtschaftliche Produktion ist in der ersten Jahreshälfte 1998 gegenüber dem zweiten Halbjahr 1997 saisonbereinigt um 1,25% gestiegen, was einer laufenden Jahresrate von 2,5% entspricht. Die Wachstumsrate gegenüber dem vergleichbaren Vorjahreszeitraum betrug 2,8%. Impulse kamen in der ersten Jahreshälfte 1998 zunehmend von der Binnennachfrage, insbesondere die Ausrüstungsinvestitionen zogen kräftig an. Der Außenbeitrag wirkte dagegen leicht dämpfend.
