Potentiale für einen innovativen Umweltschutz im Freistaat Sachsen

Abstract

Die FuE-Kapazitäten für den Umweltschutz in den neuen Bundesländern können nicht losgelöst von der Gesamtsituation der Forschungslandschaft in Ost- und Westdeutschland gesehen werden. Eine Charakterisierung der Forschungssituation in den neuen Bundesländern und insbesondere der in Sachsen erfolgt bereits in Veröffentlichungen des Sächsischen Wirtschaftsministeriums und des ifo Instituts. In dem Bericht wird vor allem auf statistische Informationen, die einen Vergleich von Forschungspotentialen in den alten mit denen in den neuen Bundesländern ermöglichen, um auf ausgewählte Probleme, die schließlich auch die Entwicklung von umweltschutzbezogenen Innovationspotentialen betreffen, aufmersam gemacht.
