Konjunkturlage im Handwerk : zuversichtlichere Geschäftserwartungen

Abstract

Das ostdeutsche Handwerk gehört zu den Wirtschaftszweigen, bei denen die Umstellung auf die Marktwirtschaft sichtbare Erfolge zeigt. Nach der 1994 besonders günstigen Entwicklung deuten die Ergebnisse des ifo Konjunkturtests vom ersten Quartal 1995 auf eine Verschlechterung der aktuellen Geschäftslage hin, sie galt dennoch im großen und ganzen als befriedigend. Trotz der klaren Expansion bestehen in den neuen Bundesländern deutliche Branchenunterschiede. Bauneben- und Ausbaugewerbe bestimmen den Konjunkturverlauf. Die Geschäftslage hat sich im Verlauf des Jahres 1994 auf einen ausgezeichneten Stand verbessert, und im Vergleich zum Vorjahr ergab sich abermals ein deutliches Umsatzplus. Rückläufige Umsätze führten auch im ostdeutschen Metall-, Elektro- und Kfz-Handwerk zu einer weniger günstigen Beurteilung des Geschäftsverlaufs, die Lage galt dennoch als zurfiedenstellend.
