Regionalkonferenzen in Sachsen

Abstract

Das Land Sachsen hat ein Förderprogramm regionale Entwicklungskonferenz im Umfang von 45 Mill. DM in den Landeshaushalt aufgenommen. Mit dieser Maßnahme sollen eine stärkere regionale Orientierung von Förderprogrammen erreicht und regionale Entwicklungspläne initiiert werden. Kerngedanke dabei ist, solche Regionen bei der Förderung zu bevorzugen, deren Bedürftigkeitsniveau - gemessen an der Höhe der allgemeinen Arbeitslosenquote oder der bestimmter Gruppen oder auch der Steuerkraft pro Einwohner - im bundesdeutschen oder EU-Vergleich besonders hoch ist. Unter diesem Gesichtspunkt kommen in Sachsen u. a. Teile der Region des mittleren Erzgebirges und der Region Südostsachsen für eine Förderung in Frage.
