Westeuropa : zunehmende konjunkturelle Erholung

Abstract

In den westeuropäischen Industrieländern wurde die Rezession im zweiten Quartal 1993 überwunden. Seither kommt die konjunkturelle Erholung voran. Das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt, das 1993 noch um 0,5 % gegenüber dem Vorjahr zurückgegangen war, dürfte 1994 um reichlich 1,5 % und 1995 um rund 2,5 % expandieren. Wirtschaftspolitische Impulse wirken bis weit in das Jahr 1995 hinein. Die Finanzpolitik verfolgt einen konsolidierungsorientierten Kurs. Die Konsumentenpreise steigen mit knapp 3 % im Jahr 1994 und rund 2,5 % 1995 moderat. Auf dem Arbeitsmarkt verschlechtert sich dieses Jahr die Lage kaum noch. Erst 1995 ist mit einer leichten Besserung zu rechnen. Die zusammengefaßte Leistungsbilanz dürfte 1994 und 1995 Überschüsse aufweisen. Der Bericht stellt in einer Tabelle die prozentualen Veränderungswerte des Bruttoinlandsproduktes und der Verbraucherpreise der westeuropäischen Industrieländer sowie die Werte der USA, Japans und Kanadas zwischen den Jahren 1991 und 1995 dar.
