Arbeitsmarkt in Sachsen - noch kein Aufschwung in Sicht

Abstract

Im April 1994 hat sich gegenüber dem Vorjahresmonat die Arbeitslosenquote in Sachsen um 2,5 % auf 16,7 % erhöht. Besonders betroffen sind die Frauen. Der Anteil der Frauenarbeitslosigkeit stieg auf 23,3 % an und nimmt damit eine Spitzenposition im gesamten Bundesgebiet ein. Der Arbeitslosigkeitstrend in Sachsen ist gleich dem Gesamtdeutschen. Allerdings nähert sich die Arbeitslosenquote immer mehr an den Durchschnitt der neuen Bundesländer an. 1991 lag die Quote noch deutlich unter dem ostdeutschen Durchschnitt. Der Bericht faßt die Eckdaten des Arbeitsmarktes in Sachsen von 1991 bis April 1994 zusammen. Dabei werden die Zahlen der Arbeitslosen, Kurzarbeiter, Beschäftigte in ABM, Beschäftigte mit Förderung nach ?249h Arbeitsförderungsgesetz und die Teilnehmer an Fortbildungen durch Graphiken und Tabellen dargestellt. Insgesamt ist festzustellen, daß die Zahlen der Beschäftigten in ABM und nach ?249h AFG geförderten leicht ansteigen. Die Anzahl der Kurzarbeiter und Teilnehmer an Fortbildungen nahmen ab. Für die Zukunft sind auf dem sächsischen Arbeitsmarkt noch keine Zeichen einer nachhaltigen Wende in Sicht.
