Investitionen in den neuen Bundesländern : Anstieg um 15 % auf reichlich 160 Mrd. DM erwartet

Abstract

Das ifo Institut hat die Entwicklung der Investitionen in den neuen Bundesländern untersucht. Danach dürften 1993 in Ostdeutschland reichlich 140 Mrd. DM investiert worden sein. Gegenüber 1992 ergab sich ein Zuwachs von knapp einem Fünftel bei nominaler Betrachtung. Im laufenden Jahr ist mit einem weiteren Anstieg um 15 % auf reichlich 160 Mrd. DM zu rechnen. Die Investitionsentwicklung wurde in den Sektoren Land- und Forstwirtschaft, produzierendes Gewerbe, Handel, Verkehr, Wohnungsvermittlung und Nachrichtenübermittlung betrachtet. Starke Impulse gehen besonders vom Dienstleistungsbereich aus. Im Handel verlagert sich das Investitionsgeschehen mehr und mehr in Richtung Gewerbeparks. Die Entwicklung im produzierenden Gewerbe muß sehr differenziert betrachtet werden. Während die Bereiche Bergbau und Energie sowie auch das Baugewerbe weiter expandieren,zeigen sich im verarbeitenden Gewerbe deutliche Bremsspuren. Insgesamt wird festgestellt, daß trotz Konjunkturschwäche kein Investitionseinbruch zu erwarten ist.
