The Eu-Russia Trade Relationship: Trends, Restrictions And Structural Changes In The Goods Trade (2013-2023)

As already above mentioned in our title these lines below will focus on the trade relationships between the EU area countries and the Russian Federation during the 2013-2023 interval. The imposed international restrictions’ impact against Russia in context will be here detached. The referred commercial exchanges’ structure and dynamics before and after these sanctions applied will be investigated /analysed. An analysis going into details on individual products as exported to and imported from Russia by the EU multi-country area – so, the more vulnerable sectors will be detached, in their turn. Then, our study will deepen its topic on individual countries of the EU – so, there will result the intra-group of EU countries that succeeds some dominance in their exports & imports with Russia, meaning a real adaptivity to the newly imposed context as both economic and geopolitical. In its end our article adds a synthesis on the referred international sanctions against Russia – some of their chapters, as more highly significant, will be also detached, detailed and followed as implemented. Our paper is intended for an advance into an appropriate understanding of both these sanctions’ impact on both sides and new intra-continent relationships.
