Abstract

Transforming the European economy into an ecologically neutral one, where hydrogen is the essential component, is an important goal that is found in most of the strategies of the Member States of the European Union for the period 2021-2030. The article presents the European perspectives on the transition to hydrogen production seen as an integral part of the fundamental changes that currently characterize the structure of European and global green energy markets aimed at gradually shaping a new integrated energy system.
