Abstract

This article, reconstructed from a pedagogical, but also economic point of view, a history of the aesthetic-artistic education of the art consumer, especially of the art of the theater performance, among the children and young people of the town of Targu-Jiu. The Theater Program launched in the schools of the town of Targu-Jiu (1995-1997), drew the attention to the two pedagogical problems, existing today, regarding the higher formative value of the School Theater and the urgent need for the training of specialized teachers in the realization of education and of training through the discipline (subject) of education “School theater”. Once the theater entered the middle of the students, over time, it was found that the student (at that time, a new segment of spectators), got the perfect image of the consumer of “living art” endorsed. This statement is statistically proven, by an action started by us in the historical context of the development of the relationship between the young consumer of art and the theater performance, in particular, in order to find out the degree of evolution of the encounter between spectator(s) and actor from the Establishment of the Dramatic Theater “Elvira Godeanu” in the town of Targu-Jiu and up to now - 1993-2019.
