Abstract

The drastic diminution of the primary resources, the exponential growth of the population and the inauspicious developments in what the environment is concerned have required a series of measures as a result of the need to protect the surrounding environment. Since a great deal of years there is concept that has appeared in the European decision-making institutions and is not quite unknown, but it was not until now that it has started achieving the proper visibility and attention: the circular economy. This is a new paradigm, an economic circuit where, even from the design phase, everything is built in such a way, that all what makes a product should fit under two categories: to have a degradable compound, or the compound should be 100% recyclable
