The paper deals with the typology of the costs used in the evaluation of the environmental investment projects in point of managerial accounting, but also with the indicators used in a cost-benefit analysis. To analyze the data we used a questionnaire based on three questions whose results were analyzed and which were at the basis of the realization of our whole scientific approach. The case study on the cost-benefit analysis used in an environmental investment project has been realized at a company of the aluminium industry, of Romania, and the results obtained have been presented and analyzed adequately.
