Abstract

Romania has reached a stage of development characterized by the fact that competitive advantages even if they are relatively advanced do not necessarily support the platform of future growth. For a country in this situation there are specific factors which describe the causes and possible solutions to overcome this obstacle. From this perspective, the present paper aims to draw a series of guidelines in order to increase the degree of competitiveness of the national economy and the attractiveness of the Romanian business environment.
