Abstract

L’articolo analizza la relazione tra Stato emercato, identificando due principali approcciteorici. Il primo, connesso alla prospettiva metodologicasmithiana, considera il funzionamentodel capitalismo determinato da una complessa interazionetra Stato, mercato e struttura sociale. Ilsecondo approccio, basato sulla prospettiva marginalistae neoclassica, ha fornito la base analiticaall’attuale neoliberismo. Analizzando l’evoluzionedi tali prospettive analitiche, l’articolo esploragli effetti del neoliberismo sulla regolazione dellapolitica economica e sottolinea l’attualità dellaprospettiva smithiana.
