Sustainable Urban Mobility and Requalification for an Economic Relaunch of the Cities

Abstract

L'adozione di modelli di sviluppo sostenibile è diventata, da qualche anno, una delle priorità negli indirizzi di politica economica comunitaria e nazionale in materia di mobilità e riqualificazione urbana.È evidente, infatti, che si possa massimizzare l'efficacia delle politiche di mobilità solo integrandole con una corretta pianificazione urbanistica, unendo le attività di efficientamento della mobilità urbana allo sviluppo economico della città attraverso processi di riqualificazione complessiva.Il presente articolo intende indagare alcune tra le più interessanti azioni di riqualificazione urbana e sviluppo economico, avvenute in Europa, che sono riconducibili ad un incisivo riordino della mobilità urbana.
