Workforce Strengthening in Italy’s Employment Centres

Abstract

La necessità di gestire a livello locale importanti politiche nazionali ed europee ha dato il via al potenziamento/rinnovamento del personale impiegato nei Centri per l’impiego (CPI), un processo indispensabile per superare il gap strutturale, che persiste da quando la gestione dei servizi al lavoro è stata decentrata a livello locale. Dopo diversi tentativi, il potenziamento dei CPI può ritenersi in gran parte perfezionato con l’implementazione del Piano straordinario di potenziamento dei Centri per l’impiego e delle politiche attive del lavoro, adottato con il D.M. 28 giugno 2019, n. 74, e successivamente modificato con il D.M.19 giugno 2020, n. 59, con l’intento di migliorare l’operato dei CPI grazie all’assunzione di nuovo personale appositamente formato per trattare in maniera efficace i beneficiari delle misure di contrasto alla povertà.
