Abstract

Is what we have in common bad for working relationships? To answer this, we use the interactional and systemic approach. We distinguish the experiential common, which is source of conf icts, from the representational common which is the potential resolution lever. An intervention process is def ned and implemented for two case studies. We obtained contrasting effects. The resolution of interpersonal conf icts emerges conditioned by the emergence of a representational common, without guaranty, the effects of the remedy escaping the control of the intervenor.
