Abstract

Many studies have analyzed the impact of telecommuting and the determinants of innovation. However, very few of them have analyzed the relationship between these two forms of innovation: social (telecommuting) and technological (product; process). This article aims to contribute to the understanding of this relationship. To this end, we consider a survey carried out by the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) among 1,468 representative companies in Luxembourg. The main result highlights the positive impact of a telecommuting policy on product innovation. More precisely, this article points out common determinants between a telecommuting approach and innovation (product; process). JEL classification: M14, O15, O31, O32.
