Abstract

In the upper class, religion accommodates the developments of the capitalist system. The global financialization of economic and social activities is assumed, without individual or collective guilt, despite the now extreme inequality. Faith and belief in family dynasties reinforce a feeling of belonging to a sacred and exceptional class of individuals.
