De l'exténuation à la sublimation : la notion de territoire est-elle encore utile ?

Abstract

This article attempts to evaluate two contradictory positions vis-?-vis the notion of territory and the territorialization as a process. In a first time, geographers have taken the concept for a long time and questioned the validity of terms and their relevance today. As if the land, used too, was a victim of «exhaustion» of meaning. In a second step, the text refers to the rebound of the notion that economists are beginning to seize. There would be a sublimation of the concept which gives meaning and operability.
