Connective infrastructure and firms’ export: China vs. the World Bank. Different approaches, different results?

Abstract

China funded more infrastructure projects in Africa than all G8 nations combined during the last decade. One could question the effects of Chinese-funded infrastructure projects on firms? export activity, and whether these projects differ from World Bank-funded infrastructure projects.
