L’intégration des migrants et des réfugiés – quelques commentaires reflétant le point de vue allemand

Author

Abstract

Integration is more than language acquisition and labour market participation. In the current discussions the topic of values (including the meaning of religion for individuals) is getting more and more attention. Other aspects touched in this comment are differences within groups which have to be considered even when working with aggregate data, the effects of temporariness of residence titles, the need for comparative longitudinal analysis when analyzing outcomes of citizenship, and dispersal mechanisms in the settlement of refugees.
