Ekonomická integrácia krajín ASEAN

Abstract

Asociácia krajín juhovýchodnej Ázie (ASEAN) hrá dôležitú úlohu v hospodárskych vzťahoch, čo z nej robí dôležitého partnera pre krajiny sveta a regionálne zoskupenia. V decembri 2008 sa v rámci združenia desiatich štátov juhovýchodnej Ázie uzavrel ratifikačný proces formálneho dokumentu – Charty ASEAN, ktorá by ich mala užšie spojiť a zaviazať k dodržiavaniu noriem demokracie a rešpektovania ľudských práv. Členské štáty súčasne napĺňajú Plán na vytvorenie Ekonomického spoločenstva členov ASEAN do roku. Cestu ASEAN k naplneniu svojich cieľov v určenom termíne môžu skomplikovať niektoré politické či ekonomické prekážky. Podarí sa členským krajinám ASEAN aj napriek niektorým problémom realizovať svoje ciele?
