Vplyv kultúry na ekonomický rozvoj v Írskej republike

Abstract

Moderné Írsko si zakladá na vytváraní moderného, neoliberálneho, progresívneho, mnohokultúrneho obrazu, ktorý je modelovaný v súlade s potrebou priaznivého medzinárodného ohlasu a nezaťažuje sa svojou minulosťou. Hodnoty novej podnikateľskej triedy sa stali hodnotami neoliberálneho Írska, formovaného podnikateľskou kultúrou vytvorenou z postojov, hodnôt a noriem, slúžiacich potrebám trhu, ktoré sú podporované vládnymi orgánmi. Na rozdiel od nacionalistického Írska avšak tieto hodnoty obsahujú slabý princíp sociálnej integrácie, pretože slúžia potrebám malej časti populácie. Samotný hospodársky rast ešte nerobí spoločnosť úspešnou. Treba podporovať materiálne záujmy so zabezpečenou a súdržnou identitou a pestovať zmysel pre spolupatričnosť.
