Súčasné problémy v eurozóne a perspektívy jej ďalšieho vývoja

Abstract

V čase, keď sa globálna ekonomika ocitá v problémoch s klesajúcim ekonomickým rastom a rastúcou infláciou, pokračuje ďalšie rozširovanie členskej základne eurozóny. Globálna nerovnováha sa prejavuje aj na európskom finančnom trhu. Euro sa zhodnocuje oproti americkému doláru, finančné trhy pociťujú nedostatok likvidity v dôsledku hypotekárnej krízy v USA, inflácia narastá. Stredobodom pozornosti sú centrálne banky a ich možnosti ovplyvňovania podmienok na peňažnom trhu. V tejto súvislosti sa pretriasa otázka funkčnosti menovej únie a jej perspektívy do budúcnosti. Zámerom príspevku je poukázať na vývoj v eurozóne a vystihnúť pozitívne a negatívne faktory jej ďalšieho napredovania.
