Súčasná ekonomická situácia Peru v latinskoamerickom kontexte a jeho vzťahy s Európskou úniou

Abstract

V článku sa uvádzajú základné informácie o geografických podmienkach, politickom systéme a ekonomickej situácii Peru. Výkonnosť peruánskej ekonomiky sa za posledných šesť rokov stala, takpovediac, zázrakom. Regeneračný program počas vlády prezidenta Toleda vniesol významné zmeny do peruánskej ekonomiky v porovnaní s osemdesiatymi rokmi predovšetkým v stabilnejšej fiškálnej a menovej politike a otvorením obchodných a finančných trhov. Následkom týchto štrukturálnych zmien sa podstatne zmenilo aj cyklické správanie základných makroekonomických ukazovateľov v roku 2005, čo sa prejavilo znížením inflácie na 1,49% a zvýšením rastu HDP o 5,1% . Koncom roku 2006 sa rast HDP odhadoval zhruba na 5% , zatiaľ čo export by mal dosiahnuť 18.2 tisíc miliónov a import 13.2 tisíc miliónov dolárov. Pozitívny ekonomický rast smerom k stabilnému a konkurenčnému trhu vytvára v Peru dynamickejšie prostredie pre zahraničné investície.
