K niektorým aspektom islamského fundamentalizmu a terorizmu

Abstract

Štúdia stručne charakterizuje pojmy fundamentalizmus a terorizmus a venuje pozornosť príčinám vzniku tohto javu. Upozorňuje predovšetkým na sociálno-ekonomické aspekty - chudoba, nespokojnosť a sociálny konflikt, ktoré sú sprievodným javom života v chudobných krajinách sveta. Tento spôsob života tvorí živnú pôdu pre rôzne formy fundamentalizmu, fanatizmu, etnického separatizmu a terorizmu. Autori upozorňujú na nebezpečenstvo zrastania islamského fundamentalizmu a terorizmu so štátnou mocou, hovoria o vývoji novodobého terorizmu od 70-tych rokov 20. storočia až do súčasnosti, snažia sa poukázať na niektoré faktory islamizácie terorizmu a tiež upozorniť na súčasný stav a perspektívy demografického vývoja v islamskom svete. Záverom sa konštatuje, že hlavným nástrojom riešenia uvedeného problému musí byť sociálno-ekonomický rozvoj, rešpektovanie ľudských práv a ďalšia demokratizácia nedemokratických, resp. formálne demokratických režimov vo svete. Tieto ciele treba presadzovať predovšetkým cez kompromis a dialóg. Iba tak je možné v súčasnej medzinárodnopolitickej konštelácii postupne potláčať islamský fundamentalizmus a terorizmus.
