Kultúrna Identita Ako Zdroj Politickej Suverenity Členských Štátov Európskej Únie

Abstract

Zámerom príspevku je preskúmať vybrané dôvody a upriamiť pozornosť na možný dôsledok aktuálnej tendencie členských štátov Európskej únie k ochrane ich kultúrnej identity v kontexte neustále sa prehlbujúcej integrácie Európskej únie spojenej s harmonizáciou v niekoľkých oblastiach okrem kultúrnej. Za týmto účelom je v príspevku bližšie analyzované postavenie národnej identity členských štátov v procese integrácie, ich etnická, kultúrna a jazyková diverzita a pozícia Európskej únie vzhľadom na postavenie a práva minorít v členských štátoch. V závere príspevku je pozornosť zameraná na rekognoskáciu pojmu etnocentrizmu z teoretického aj praktického hľadiska.
