Voľby Do Európskeho Parlamentu 2014 (Prípad Spojeného Kráľovstva Veľkej Británie A Severného Írska)

Abstract

Víťazom volieb do Európskeho parlamentu v Spojenom kráľovstve Veľkej Británie a Severného Írska sa stala euroskeptická Strana nezávislosti Spojeného kráľovstva. Tá svoje pozície zlepšila oproti posledným voľbám o 11 mandátov. Jej víťazstvo len potvrdilo vnímanie Spojeného kráľovstva ako euroskeptickej krajiny, resp. krajiny, ktorej postoj k ďalšiemu prehlbovaniu európskej integrácii je rezervovaný. Ak sa však posudzujú výsledky v širšom kontexte, tento obraz nie je úplne pravdivý. Spojené kráľovstvo je rozdelené na dve približne rovnaké časti – jednu tvoria euroskeptici a druhú zástancovia (reformovanej) Európskej únie.
