Abstract

Futurológia - najmä v mezinárodných politických vzťahoch – poukazuje na to, že dnešné zmeny se stávajú realitou budoucnosti. Z tohoto dôvodu je dôležita snaha o analýzu nastávajúcej budúcnosti. Ako iné vedné odbory (napríklad história), sa snaží vysvetliť čo sa stalo v minulosti a prečo. Cieľom futurológie je porozumieť skrytému potenciálu súčasnosti. Futurológia v politickej vede často skúma nielen možné a pravdepodobné, ale i vzdialené a nejasné v budúcnosti.
