Abstract

Energetická politika Európskej únie reaguje na energetickú stratégiu Ruskej federácie, pričom únia doteraz neprikladala energetickej politike patričnú dôležitosť. Až 80% z energií používaných v EÚ je z fosílnych palív – ropa, zemný plyn a uhlie. Veľký a stále rastúci podiel pochádza z krajín mimo EÚ. Závislosť na dovoze ropy a plynu, ktorá je v súčasnosti dosahuje 50%-ná, môže vzrásť na 70% v roku 2030.
