Fundamentalizmus a islamské ideologické prúdy

Abstract

Autor sa vo svojom článku zaoberá vymedzením fundamentalizmu na základe miery jeho zapojenia do opozičnej činnosti a miery využívania násilných metód pri presadzovaní svojich cieľov. Ďalej sa zaoberá podstatou islamizmu, ako fenoménu považovaného za praktickú realizáciu ideí fundamentalizmu. Autor sa venuje štruktúre a hodnotám islamizmu a analyzuje mechanizmy a zloženie hnacích síl extrémizmu, ako aj príčiny jeho vzniku. Pre hlbšie pochopenie problematiky extrémnych prejavov autor v ďalšej časti textu definuje rozdiel medzi extrémizmom a terorizmom na základe ich charakteristík.
