Rozvojová Agenda Na Pôde Organizácie Spojených Národov

Abstract

Rozvojová agenda stojí v centre cieľov a aktivít Organizácie Spojených národov od jej počiatkov a hoci sa význam pojmu „rozvoj“ mení, vždy bol úzko spojený s prevenciou konfliktov a ľudskoprávnou agendou. Rok 2015 bol určený ako termín pre splnenie doposiaľ najvýznamnejšej rozvojovej výzvy – Miléniových rozvojových cieľov. V súčasnosti je už zrejmé, že ciele ako celok splnené nebudú, zároveň je však zjavné, že úsilie podniknuté v snahe splniť MDGs prinieslo pre globálny rozvoj mnoho pozitív – rozvoj v rôznych oblastiach bol zaznamenaný v rámci krajín a regiónov, ale predovšetkým v životnej úrovni miliónov ľudí na svete. Blíži sa čas prijatia novej agendy a kľúčoví aktéri, na čele s OSN, už podnikli kroky nevyhnutné pre naplánovanie novej rozvojovej stratégie.
