Abstract

Considering the international relations that European Union undertakes in the economic, social, political and defense spheres and following the analysis of the position of this organization worldwide, the paper presents a possible strategy tthat strengthen the international relations of the European Union, on various levels. Moreover, given the importance of the economic, political, defense, and social levels, the proposed objectives, channeled on those levels, aim at emphasizing the importance of the international body in terms of international relations. It is particularly important for the European Union to maintain and to consolidate its position as an important player in international relations. Through the correct and coherent application of a unitary strategy, this goal can be achieved and it is able to generate positive effects, of any nature and at any level of the European Union and its citizens, but also of the world's population. In the current period, marked by the COVID-19 pandemic, there is more than ever the need for strong international relations, based on cooperation and mutual trust.
