Abstract

In der vorliegenden Abhandlung werden ausgewählte empirische Ergebnisse einer von der DZ Bank-Stiftung geförderten Studie zum Thema „Nachhaltigkeit von Genossenschaftsbanken" vorgestellt. Die konzeptionellen Überlegungen und empirischen Befunde zeigen, dass die morphologischen Besonderheiten der Genossenschaftsbanken eine nachhaltige Unternehmenspolitik begünstigen können. Die Ausführungen machen weiter deutlich, dass es diese Vorteile strategisch zu nutzen gilt. Dies ist insbesondere mit Blick auf künftige regulatorische Anforderungen von besonderer Relevanz.
