„Gleichschaltung“ und „Arisierung“: Die Raiffeisen-Organisationen nach 1933

Abstract

Nach der Machtübernahme der Nationalsozialisten wurden Spitzenfunktionen im Reichsverband der deutschen landwirtschaftlichen Genossenschaften – Raiffeisen e. V. mit NSDAP-Mitgliedern besetzt. Nach der vorübergehenden Integration in den Reichsnährstand erlangte der Reichsverband formal seine Selbständigkeit zurück. Die Raiffeisen-Organisationen beteiligten sich an der Aneignung jüdischen Eigentums. Obwohl 1945 stillgelegt, existierten die Raiffeisen-Vereine bis zur Verschmelzung in den Jahren 1997 und 2010 auf den 1948 in Westdeutschland neu gegründeten Deutschen Raiffeisenverband e. V. fort.
