Digitalisierung und Datenschutz: Ein Spannungsfeld

Abstract

Digitalisierung und Datenschutz beschreiben ein Spannungsfeld. Neben den technischen Herausforderungen haben sich Genossenschaften auch den Veränderungen durch die Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DSGVO) zu stellen. Big Data verändert die (Arbeits-)Welt zunehmend, während der Datenschutz oft als Hemmschuh angesehen wird. Das Recht des Einzelnen auf informationelle Selbstbestimmung ist aber ein verfassungsrechtlich geschütztes Rechtsgut. Beide Seiten sind zum Ausgleich zu bringen. Der Beitrag beschreibt beide Seiten und behandelt insbesondere die Prinzipien des Datenschutzrechtes.
