Abstract

Ecclesiastical credit cooperatives differ from common cooperative banks with regard to ownership and customer structures. There are also significant differences regarding their regional presence. This paper discusses whether these characteristics allow for an expansion of the traditional target group orientation in oder to service other customer segments.
