Abstract

Der Beitrag analysiert einleitend die Struktur von Humanrisiken, um darauf aufbauend theoretische Optionen für die Gestaltung von Risikomanagementstrategien zu entwerfen. Dabei spricht sich der Verfasser hinsichtlich der Zielgruppe armer ländlicher Bevölkerungsgruppen für eine differenzierte Anwendung des Versorgungs-, Fürsorge- und Versicherungsprinzips aus. Der genossenschaftlichen Selbsthilfe werden dabei sowohl für die Verbesserung des individuellen Risikobewältigungspotentials als auch bei der Entwicklung geeigneter Vorsorgeangebote wichtige Funktionen zugeschrieben.
