Digitaler Euro, E-Geld(-Token) und tokenisierte Sichteinlagen: digitale Geldformen im Vergleich

Abstract

Mit dem Inkrafttreten der Verordnung über Märkte für Kryptowerte (MiCAR) und der Vorlage des Verordnungsentwurfs zur Einführung eines digitalen Euro (dEuroVO-E) im Juni 2023 hat der europäische Zahlungsverkehr bedeutende Impulse bekommen. Zudem liegt aus der Deutschen Kreditwirtschaft seit März 2023 das konkurrierende Konzept tokenisierter Sichteinlagen vor. Der Beitrag untersucht und vergleicht diese neuen Geldformen einschließlich ihrer Rechtsrahmen.
