Abstract

Die ZEVEDI-Projektgruppe KI & Finance – Innovation, Resilienz und Verantwortung organisierte am 2. und 3. Juni 2022 an der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt/M. eine Konferenz zum Thema „Opportunities and Risks of Digital Transformation in Finance and Beyond“. Angesichts der zahlreichen Möglichkeiten, welche technologische Innovationen im Finanzbereich auf der einen Seite mit sich bringen sowie der Risiken für Banken, Kunden, Aufsichtsbehörden und Zentralbanken auf der anderen Seite, bot die Konferenz die Möglichkeit eines interdisziplinären Austauschs von Wissenschaft und Praxis. Im Mittelpunkt standen Fragen der Vereinbarkeit von technologischen Innovationen mit einem verantwortungsbewussten Regulierungsrahmen in den Kernanwendungsbereichen digitaler Technologien im Finanzsektor wie algorithmischem Kreditscoring, KI-Beratung und digitalen Währungen.
