Die EU-Taxonomie für nachhaltige Finanzprodukte – Eine belastbare Grundlage für Sustainable Finance in Europa?

Abstract

Die EU-Kommission hat am 24. 5. 2018 ein erstes Legislativpaket für Sustainable Finance vorgelegt. Neben der Schaffung diverser Transparenzpflichten, die nicht nur Anbieter nachhaltiger Finanzprodukte erfassen, ist darin die Einführung eines einheitlichen Klassifikationssystems für Nachhaltigkeit innerhalb der EU („Nachhaltigkeitstaxonomie“) vorgesehen. Die Taxonomie und ihre Auswirkungen werden in diesem Beitrag analysiert und vor dem Hintergrund der EU-Strategie für Sustainable Finance eingeordnet.
