Abstract

Tourism off the beaten track has been a topic of discussion for quite some time. However, scientific results on these new tourist types mainly focus on visitors’ motives for their excursions to outlying neighborhoods. For that reasons, the author gives a short description of different tourist types in selected quarters of Copenhagen and finishes with a tourist typology based on a cluster analysis.
