Abstract

The phenomenon of „coopetition“ has been recently discussed in its references to the innovative capacity of regional-sectoral composite systems, but has so far found too little consideration on the part of destination research. By using the example of the Destination Napo in Ecuador, the present article presents a quantitative approach to the operationalization of the concept in the practice of tourism research.
